The University is building a new learning and teaching building at its West Downs Quarter, Romsey Road. The building is on a prominent site along one of the key access routes into the city.
The University of Winchester has embarked on the construction of what will be a sector leading facility. Funded by ethical finance the building aims high in terms of sustainability and wellbeing. The University values are carefully embedded into the building, much of which the public will be encouraged to use and enjoy. In doing so, staff, students and the community will be able to experience and better understand how sustainable buildings which encourage health and welling of users.
This project is also one of the first major projects to attract Green funding from ethical bank, Triodos.
