HE benchmarking report

HEFCE, EAUC, Leeds Metropolitan University and Business in the Community worked together on an important sector benchmarking project between 2005 and 2006.

25 pioneering universities completed the pilot project which aimed to ‘Test the appropriateness of Business in the Community’s (BITC) benchmarking tools (the Environment Index and the Corporate Responsibility Index) for the HE Sector’. This report has primarily been prepared for the Higher Education Funding Council of England (HEFCE), which funded the project.
