Decarbonisation of cities and the organisations within them must be accelerated if the IPCC 2018 conclusion that we have 12 years to hold climate change to a tolerable change is to be met.

Bristol has set an ambition to be carbon neutral by 2030. Universities have a key role to play in supporting decarbonisation through their own actions and via their   educational and research roles.

This session explored the role of UWE in influencing city scale decarbonisation.
