Combine our extensive range of colours, textures and patterns to create the perfect space to stimulate the senses and the mind.
Interface is recognised as a global leader in sustainability. In 1994 we were one of the first companies to publicly commit to sustainability, known as Mission Zero® to eliminate any negative impact on the environment by 2020. Our manufacturing facility in the Netherlands now runs on 100% renewable energy (both gas and electric), We also virtually use no water in our manufacturing processes and European facilities send no waste to landfill. Net-Works is the first step in creating a truly restorative loop in carpet tile production. In partnership with the Zoological Society of London (ZSL), we buy discarded fishing nets from poor communities, which are used to create new yarn. This means fewer ghost nets, less virgin materials and a new source of income for the communities.
In 1994 we began Mission Zero, our committment to become fully sustainable by 2020. To achieve this ambitious goal all of our raw material must be either 100% recycled or bio-based.
Since then we've taken many steps to increase the recycled content in our carpet and at the same time decrease our dependency on virgin raw materials. Read on to discover our latest steps on this journey.
There are over one billion cars in the world, and an average of 5-6% gets a new window every year. Working with partners, we are turning a waste product into a useful component for our carpet tiles.
Our award-winning Microsfera product addresses the two biggest contributors to CO2 in our industry. The yarn and the latex precoat.
