Next Generation Sustainability Strategy and Structure image #1

This workshop presentation is from the “Learning and Legacy: The Role of Education in Creating Healthier and Happier Cities” EAUC Annual Conference 2016, presented by Ellie Appleton, Research Intern - EAUC; Jane Davidson, Associate Pro-Vice Chancellor for Sustainability & Engagement – University of Wales Trinity St David and Leanne Denby, Director of Sustainability – Macquarie University and falls under the Leadership and Governance stream. This session presented the key findings of research into organisational models for whole-institution approaches to sustainability. It considered case studies from two successful approaches, in place at University of Wales Trinity St David and Macquarie University, and how these were developed. Delegates had the opportunity to participate in a discussion about what would most usefully be included in a forthcoming output aimed at guiding universities and colleges towards making changes to a similar model successfully within their own organisations.
