A Presentation from Day 3 of the 17th EAUC Annual Conference 2013.

People, planet and participation: embedding sustainability in the curriculum

Topics Covered:

This session will present a case study showing how Macquarie University is embedding sustainability holistically across its undergraduate curriculum. Based on a People, Planet, Participation focus, delegates will actively participate in applying the curriculum framework and ‘ratings’ system used at Macquarie, to understand whether the model is flexible enough to replicate in their own institutions, whilst also providing constructive feedback as to the robustness of the approach. This will be a great session to further the goal of embedding sustainability into learning and teaching.

Speakers:

Leanne Denby, Director of Sustainability, Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia.
