AUDE and the Higher Education Design Quality Forum (HEDQF) collaborated in an exploration of the adaptive re-use of existing buildings by universities both at home and abroad. The resulting film was screened at the 2013 AUDE conference in March.

The production highlighted case study examples from the United Kingdom and Europe, with interviews about the projects. Issues explored included sustainability; contributing to regeneration and community; saving buildings of architectural or historic merit; city centre re-use and rural development.

The 2013 film, produced by Rod McAllister and William Pine.
