The concept of green campus was introduced to Korea recently. Even the application of solar energy which is relatively more familiar than other new & renewable energy is rare in Korean universities. The role of universities in saving energy has been emphasized with the green campus movement and many universities are interested in introducing the solar energy experimentally to their campuses.
