Between 2010 and 2013, LSIS has provided grants to support 63 projects which aim to develop, embed and disseminate effective approaches to sustainable development.

Each of these projects has developed a case study and, in many cases, resources and tools, which are now available for other providers to access, adopt, adapt and learn from, free of charge.

Below you can find details of the Redbridge Institute of Adult Education project, with links to pages showcasing their case study and any associated resources that have been developed by or collated by them.  Please feel free to download, use and adapt these resources - while acknowledging the authors - and to contact and engage with Redbridge Institute of Adult Education to find out more. Contact details are provided within the case study.

Redbridge Institute of Adult Education - A Greener Future

This project aimed to achieve a greener future by getting learners and staff fully involved and committed to carbon reduction. By the end of the project the team expected to have student envirochampions in each curriculum department to champion and campaign on energy reduction and recycling, and reduce our direct carbon emissions by 11,500 kg of CO2 a year.
