Between 2010 and 2013, LSIS has provided grants to support 63 projects which aim to develop, embed and disseminate effective approaches to sustainable development.

Each of these projects has developed a case study and, in many cases, resources and tools, which are now available for other providers to access, adopt, adapt and learn from, free of charge.

Below you can find details of the Stockton Riverside College project, with links to pages showcasing their case study and any associated resources that have been developed by or collated by them.  Please feel free to download, use and adapt these resources - while acknowledging the authors - and to contact and engage with Stockton Riverside College project to find out more. Contact details are provided within the case study.

Stockton Riverside College (with Stockton Borough Council) - Learner-led Sustainability Enrichment Programme

This project aimed to engage learners in sustainable activities through developing an exciting Sustainability Enrichment Programme, designed through learners’ and partners’ input. A transferable toolkit pack was to be produced, accessible on the college’s Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). A new Sustainability Student Group and Champions would be established and a celebratory Sustainability Showcase Dissemination Event was held.
