This hour long event was the third in a series called 'Realigning Curricula for the Future' aiming to support specific subjects to implement sustainability in their teaching. May 2022's meeting focussed on Art and Design.

Attendees heard examples of good practice when embedding sustainability in the art and design curriculum, discussed their own experience of embedding ESD and had the opportunity to reflect on how their curriculum represents the SDGs in a mapping activity.

The recording features:

-Eleanor Snare who introduced place-based alternative pedagogies across two Fashion Branding and communication modules at Leeds Arts University (8.25)

- Jo Petty and John Thorne who tasked communication design students to create 'meat is methane' posters at Glasgow School of Art (27.30)

-Quick SDG mapping (47.00)

-Open discussion (48.13)
