Producing detailed financial information may be more difficult than establishing the general cost information in the preliminary review. It will require the full support of the institution’s Finance Officer, who may be able to provide a breakdown of individual budgets, and also possibly the Heads of Departments and Schools where applicable.

Template 4 should be modified and used for collecting all relevant financial information relating to your institution. As well as detailed breakdowns of costs for each waste stream / building / department (identified from Template 3) it should include other costs such as the capital or rental required for compactors and balers.

A separate section should detail costs associated with recycling operations, as well as any income received from the sale of recyclable materials.
