The SDG Accord – Reporting

Reporting image #1

The SDG Accord calls for open and annual reporting on progress.

When you sign the SDG Accord as an institution, you commit to annually reporting on the question: 'How does my institution contribute to the Goals and what more can we do?'

The second SDG Accord report has now been launched at the UN High Level Political Forum in New York.

You can read it here: Progress towards the Global Goals in the University and College sector

The 2018 SDG Accord report is available here: Global universities, colleges and students leading delivery of the UN Sustainable Development Goals

There is also a communications toolkit for the 2019 report here.

You can also see what the survey looked like here - to get a feel for how much preparation is required. We try to keep the survey light touch and accessible for all sizes of institution. The survey is subject to change and we work with signatories to improve it every year. This is an online survey, the PDF just gives an outline of the questions, it is not filled in on the PDF.

A sector overview of progress is presented annually at the UN High Level Political Forum.

We will be looking to make some changes to the process annually and are keen to hear your views. So if you have any thoughts on improving the reporting process, get in touch.
